Ukraine exports almost 5 mln tonnes of grain since start of 2024/2025 MY
As of August 12, since the beginning of the 2024-2025 marketing year (MY, July - June), Ukraine has exported 4.962 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops, which is 58.9% more than in the same period a year earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported, citing data from the State Customs Service.
According to the report, 1.26 million tonnes were exported in August, which is 48.6% more than last year. In terms of crops, since the beginning of the current season, 2.273 million tonnes of wheat have been exported (in 2023/2024 MY - 1.25 million tonnes), 739,000 tonnes of barley (385,000 tonnes), 300 tonnes of rye (600 tonnes), 1.932 million tonnes of corn (1.481 million tonnes).
The total export of Ukrainian flour since the beginning of the season as of August 12 is estimated at 6,300 tonnes (in 2023/2024 MY – 14,900 tonnes), including wheat – 5,700 tonnes (14,300 tonnes).
