According to the website of the Latvian Ministry of Health, medical supplies and equipment were completed by assessing Latvia's capabilities and based on a list provided by the Ukrainian Ministry of Health and urgent needs, including after a Russian missile strike on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv.

On July 18, a letter was received from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine regarding the necessary assistance in the field of medicines, medical goods and products.

"Knowing the available resources and capabilities, Latvia will send to Ukraine: antibiotics, syringes, injection needles, infusion systems, manipulation tourniquets, adhesive plasters, pressure bandages to stop life-threatening bleeding, and bandages for dressing large wounds. The cargo will be transferred to the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, which will distribute it to hospitals," the message says.
