Bulgaria ready to provide Ukraine with ammunition from old stocks – media
Bulgaria is preparing a package of military assistance to Ukraine, which will provide ammunition and property from the surplus of the Bulgarian army. This was stated by Acting Minister of Defense of the country Atanas Zapryanov, BNR reports.
"From this property, some of the ammunition of certain types can be supplied to Ukraine. This package will also be linked to an agreement with the allied country on compensation, similar to the previous package that we sent and for which we have already received about EUR 30 million, or about BGN 60 million of compensation, which we are sending to modernization projects of the Bulgarian army," Zapryanov said.
The Bulgarian Defense minister also said that the government has yet to make a decision and then coordinate its actions with allies and Ukraine, providing logistics.
