Ukraine is ready for the corporatization of the enterprises comprising the state-owned Antonov aircraft building concern in order to exchange stakes with Russia's United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), Ukraine's Industry Minister Volodymyr Novytsky has said.
"To exchange stock packages [with UAC], we need to conduct a corporatization of the state-owned Antonov aircraft building concern and form a joint-stock company. We are ready to do this," the minister told reporters in Kyiv on Tuesday.
This will be a state-owned joint-stock company, Novytsky added.
The minister said the integration between the aviation industries of Ukraine and Russia is aimed at deepening cooperation between the two states, providing for more stable supplies of assembly parts, developing a common price policy, and forming joint aircraft maintenance centers.
