Interpipe (Dnipropetrovsk) will supply 1,400 tonnes of seamless pipes for the construction of an international terminal at Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv), a company press release reads.
The pipes are to be delivered in March, according to the contract.
The construction of the airport's D terminal is one of the projects being realized as part of the preparations for the Euro 2012 European Football Championship.
"In 2008-2009 Interpipe supplied produce for such Euro 2012 projects as the construction of the Dnipro-Arena stadium in Dnipropetrovsk, the Donbas Arena in Donetsk, the Metalist Stadium in Kharkiv, and the Olympiysky national sport complex in Kyiv," the press release reads citing Interpipe Director on Corporate Relations Oleh Kuzmin.
Interpipe's annual turnover in 2008 was $1.96 billion. In 2008 the company exported its produce to over 80 countries through the chain of trade offices in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Europe, the United States and the Middle East. In 2008 the share of exports in its total sales was 75%.
